Sooooo.....I suppose I'm talking to all of the hundreds and hundreds of people you watch me.....heh, yeah right.
Well to anyone who decides to read this journal, Hello! I'm Sonalyra. I have been on DA for a very long time now and at one time in history I used to draw and write poetry and post my pictures and poems here. BUT! I found out that a dear friend of mine was stealing my poems and saying that they were her own, so I stopped posting my art and only kept adding favorite art from other artist. Kinda sad really.
So! I finally said to myself one day. SL you can post your things on DA again, you're more grown up now. So the long and the short of it is, I have started posting my short stories and my embroidery here. There is only one more thing. I still can't draw to save my life, so any of the lovely embroidery patterns that you see here are from someone else's line art. I always (ALWAYS) get permission from the owner of said art first and then make the pattern and begin to stitch. Because stealing art from others is wrong(WRONG! I SAY!). Maybe one day I will be able to make my own patterns and be happy with them but until then, I shall be using other peoples beautiful art work.
I am sorry to say that I do not sell anything I make. So, if you like something then I am super happy that you do! But, please do not ask me to sell you one just like it. But if you want me to take one of your line arts and make them into a pattern for a art trade then I am willing to do that. So.....YES! That's the long and short of it all and I am happy to be back and starting to make my profile more worthwhile. ^_^
